Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) is excited to announce two new additions to Chief Louis Crossing: a TteS-owned Petro-Canada gas bar (Dec.2024), and a Starbucks café with drive-thru services (Jan. 2025). These openings mark key milestones in the growth of this retail complex, adding valuable services for local residents and commuters.
The new Petro-Canada station will provide full fuel services and a convenience store, to meet the needs of both local customers and visitors. With high-quality, accessible service, this second TteS-owned Petro-Canada location, highlights TteS’s ongoing commitment to create economic opportunities on Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc land.
In January 2025, a new Starbucks will add to a sense of community with a warm and welcoming café space, as well as convenience with both a drive-thru and Starbucks industry-leading Mobile Order & Pay feature. A range of Starbucks favourites, including handcrafted beverages, seasonal innovation, bakery and food items will be available for customers visiting the store.
Located on Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc traditional territory, Chief Louis Crossing, the home of Sweláps Market, continues to expand as a vibrant, community-centered destination with over 56,000 sq. ft. of leasable space. The new addition of Petro-Canada and Starbucks reflect TteS’s vision of a dynamic retail and gathering space for Kamloops.
